Lived in San Francisco, then moved to Guyana in 1977. Reverend Jim Jones had a custody battle which resulted losing John Victor to his biological parents which he refused to do. Jim Jones claimed that John was his son when he was really Tom Stoen's son. Jim Jones had illegal custody of John Victor at Jonestown. Regardless, his parents were still fighting and wining the courts, but Jones refused to surrender John Victor to his parents. He falsely accused he was his father to strengthen the argument. John was one of the victims to be forced on poisoned kool-aid. After the tragic event the Stoens were unable to retrieve their son's remains.


This memorial website was created to remember our dearest John Stoen who was born in California on January 25, 1972 and passed away on November 18, 1978. You will live forever in our memories and hearts.
